Fujifilm Fujifilm FDR Xair

The Fujifilm FDR Xair (model XD2000) is one of the world’s lightest portable X-ray units — just 3.5 kg (7.7 lb) including battery — engineered to bring diagnostic imaging directly to patients in the home, isolation wards, community clinics, and disaster-relief field operations where conventional X-ray equipment cannot go. Its built-in lithium-polymer battery delivers up to 100 exposures per charge in environments without electrical power, and a flat, easy-clean enclosure with grouped one-finger controls simplifies operation in challenging settings. The FDR Xair pairs with Fujifilm’s FDR D-EVO II CsI detector and Console Advance to deliver low-dose, high-resolution images via Virtual Grid image processing and Dynamic Visualization II. Important: the FDR Xair is intended for stand-mounted use only — a supporting stand (XD2000 ST, ST-M, or ST-S) ships standard with the system, and Fujifilm’s February 2025 safety notification specifies that the unit is not approved for handheld operation.
